Spring Break for Families, All Inclusives & Cruises at a Steal!

As the editor of a travel newsletter going to almost 2 million subscribers, every deal published needs to be great value for the money whether it is moderate, deluxe or luxury.

Our team makes sure:
1) no one else can offer a better deal
2) if we are not personally familiar with the destination, property or cruise (which does not happen that often since our team has over 100 years of combined experience in this business), we research it for consumer comments and articles
3) whether it is a moderate cruise ship or a luxury hotel, we make sure there is Value in the deal.

Since Spring break is on every one's mind, I thought I would offer some of the latest:

Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace: 6 nights with airfare starting at $599 - this package was $1499 when the economy was strong!.
This may be more depending on where you are flying from.
Travel Valid: February 5 - December 17, 2009, 60% Savings! ~ All Inclusive
Book by Feb 08, 2009
This is a three star resort, it has everything you need; however, if you are used to Deluxe properties, check out some of the other deals on this page.
Travellers to this resort have said the following: 'Comfortable and appealing properties offering dependable accommodations and amenities with a variety of facilities and services'. couples and families. There is a great spa, and the property features the Viva Wyndham's signature kid's club, offering daily and nightly activities. The hotel is set on an amazing white powder beach and the fact that you can visit and eat at the sister property next door, Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach is a nice plus. Be sure to check out the trapeze show on the beach at the sister hotel next door. It's amazing.
Getting restaurant reservations during peak times was sometimes challenging, so please book ahead!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana starting at $89 per person per night - all inclusive.
This is a great deal, but I will warn that it is a new resort, so I can only tell you what I have heard from my friends at BookIt.com. They have not steered me wrong yet, as they check out every resort before they sell it and have not steered me wrong yet. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana is having a Grand Opening Special of $129 per adult, per night during Spring Break and $89 any time after April 17. This resort is also in the Dominican Republic, an island known for its all inclusive resorts.

This resort offers: All Suites Accommodations, 24 Hour All Inclusive, All Meals and Drinks Included (Premium brand liquor), 6 Restaurants and 8 Bars to Choose from - BRAND NEW RESORT! JUST OPENED NOVEMBER 2008. Three night packages from New York start at $499 per person - price will vary depending on your gateway.

Cruising on Royal Caribbean International (RCI)
For those of you who are not cruise aficionados, RCI is one of the more upscale cruise lines, I would compare it to a 4-5 star resort. Also great for families as their ships are entire world unto themselves.
As Spring Break is different through out the country, I am seeing cruises from mid March to mid April start from $499 per person upwards. FYI, different ships have different pricing depending on the ship's "age" and amenities.
Royal Caribbeans "Radiance-class" ships, are 88, 000-tons, and host 2, 100-passengers. The Radiance class includes Radiance of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas. These sleek new ships, with their mega-yacht exteriors, boast an abundance of windows, all-glass elevators facing the sea and the fleet's highest percentage of staterooms with balconies.
Royal Caribbean is offering more options than ever in the Caribbean, giving travelers the freedom to choose their perfect vacation. Royal Caribbean guests can choose from more than 19 different ships, including Brilliance of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas. The cruise line is offering nine close to home departure ports: Miami, San Juan, Ft. Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Tampa, Galveston, Baltimore, New York and New Orleans. These sailings are three- to 11 nights.

Adventure OceanTM

Family cruising becomes pure enjoyment for parents and their children, truly creating memories of a life time, especially for kids. The Adventure Ocean program for young cruisers is free and has long been recognized as one of the industry's best. All children's activities are supervised by male and female Youth Staff, professionally certified in education, recreation and/or preschool, or having qualified experience in working with children ages three to 17.
Spring Breakers, families, couples, friends or even those that just want a break from their lives should sit up and take notice. Dunhill Vacation News has the exclusive on these deals - so make sure you pack your camera and go out there and have a blast!
