New Orleans Singer Songwriter Daniel Amedee Signs to Record deal

NEW ORLEANS Musician DANIEL AMEDEE Signs With Expat Records To Release Incredible ORCHESTRAL ROCK CD.

The cd titled 'Themes From...' will be the debut full length lp by this New Orleans Artist and is going to be available in May 2011.

Daniel Amedee is a twenty-four yr old singer, songwriter, musician hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana who has been writing songs since he was fourteen years of age.

The minute Hurricane Katrina pushed Daniel from the town of New Orleans, he realised his opening to chase a motivated music vocation.

The New Orleans Musician and performer acted upon his intuition and went to Ireland to live and play music all over Europe. While he was there he concentrated on developing his producing and performance competencies, improving his songs to a sound that is distinctively his own. During this period he connected with and worked with diverse respectable soloists and recorded with guitarist Noel Hogan of The Cranberries. After two unbelievable years Daniel made a decision it was time to move home to New Olreans and use it as home base for touring the usa once more. During this time period Daniel got together with producer Charles Gonzalez in San Francisco, CA. Charles, a fellow New Orleans native, was stunned at Daniel's sound and desired to record his first full-length record "Themes From...". Daniel promptly agreed and headed to San Francisco in November of last year to start recording.

More than a few remarkably accomplished performers were active in the recording of the New Orleans Musician's debut cd that include percussionist Patrick Spurgeon (Rogue Wave), violist Charith Premawardhanna (Mars Volta, Classical Revolution), cellist Stephen Sparapani, trumpeter Max-Miller Loran (The Get-Back), and choral vocalist Megaga were the most necessary element in imparting these tracks the spark they offer.

The cd is a combination of orchestral rock and soul, building sweeping soundscapes and cinematic ideas.

'Themes From...' the debut release of New Orleans Musician Daniel Amedee hits stores in May 2011 and may be streamed in full at the Expat Records site.
